Revelation 8:10,11 10 The third angel blew his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from heaven. It fell on a third of the rivers and springs of water. 11 The name of the star is Wormwood, and a third of the waters became wormwood. So, many of the people died from the waters, because they had been made bitter. There are few things I enjoy more than a cold cup of fresh water. Living in Chicago we get some of the best tap water and the best part is, we get it consistently. My mother-in-law lives in Puerto Rico, She has three sources of water at her disposal. Her home runs right alongside a river, she has tap water, and she is close to a fresh water spring. But during hurricane season she can lose it all just like that. She actually did on multiple occasions and when she finally got to enjoy some fresh water she was so relived! Reading today that,"a third of the waters became *wormwood" (*bitter) is unfathomable. There are so many in our church who literally run (marathons) for fresh water and raise funds so families in Africa and other countries can have access to clean water. When this time comes there will be no escaping it and "many of the people [will die] from the waters." As awful and sad as this is, it will be just as God showed John so many years ago. God will not be mocked and He will unleash judgment on the unbelieving world as it has never seen and will never see again after that. I am so grateful to be living, not only on this side of the cross, but on the side of the One who hung on the it in my place. He hold more than my future He holds me! Can you say the same? If you cannot we should talk. We love you too much to let any perish who is part of our ESM group. Have a great day Loved Ones and God bless you real good! Memory Verse of the Week The smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, went up in the presence of God from the angel’s hand. Revelation 8:4
